I had been unemployed for 4.5 months when Tali reached out to me on LinkedIn about Bold Career Talk. I had been consistently getting to the recruiter screener phase for a wide variety of companies, but was unsuccessful at converting those to further stages or, more importantly, offers. I was recently laid off unexpectedly and needed to find a job sooner rather than later. As soon as I saw Tali’s (Bold Career Talk) ad on IG, I knew I needed to sign up for interview coaching because it was my weakest area in my job search. I absolutely hated job interviews, but I knew they were the most important part of landing a job offer, so I signed up to improve my interview skills.

Everyone at Bold Career Talk is super responsive, helpful, supportive, kind, fun, and knowledgeable.

Magdalena was really kind and helpful; she assisted me with signing up for the program. I am very grateful for the payment plan Bold Career Talk offers, because otherwise I would not have been able to join.

I learned a lot about the STAR structure for my stories—why each section is important and how to make each section better. I had a few questions about my homework before starting the coaching/prep section of the Bold Career Talk program. Tali was very responsive, knowledgeable, and fun, and with her coaching I was able to move forward to the next section.

I was having trouble with the Results area of my STAR stories, but with Megan and Shayna’s help I was able to present my results and impact in a way that showcased my skills, abilities, and experience. After fixing the Results area, I noticed the Situation section needed more impact, and with their help I improved that too.

I really like the setup of this program, which allows you to 1) prep your STAR stories based on the job you’re going for, 2) interview as if it were a real interview, 3) receive coaching to help you improve, and 4) practice on your own time.

Megan and Shayna were responsive, helpful, supportive, kind, fun, and knowledgeable. They understand the stress candidates face when looking for jobs; they were super supportive, encouraged me to keep practicing, and answered all my questions.

I’m more grateful than I can say to have had Megan and Shayna by my side during this stressful, difficult, and uncertain job-search journey.

Job interviews are not my favorite thing, but learning the STAR structure the way Bold Career Talk teaches it and role-playing helped me become more confident in communicating my experience. Interviewing is still not my favorite thing, but it’s not as scary and stressful as it was before the program. I will definitely sign up for Tali’s program again in a couple of years when I am ready for my next job.
